Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 September 2026

1. Who we are and what this covers

Agentora Technologies Private Limited (“Agentora”, “we”, “us”) operates www.agentora.in. Our registered office is at Plot No 540, Vijayraj Nagar, Bhavnagar – 364003, Gujarat, India.

This policy covers both of our services: our enterprise offering (AI readiness assessments, discovery workshops and delivery work) and the Agentora AI Mentor — a personal growth assistant available as an Android app, on the web, and over WhatsApp.

It explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

2. What we collect — enterprise services and website

Contact form: your name, work email address, company name, the topic you are interested in, and any message you choose to include.

AI Readiness Assessment and Discovery Workshop: responses you or your team provide about your organisation's data, technology, governance, and people practices, together with the contact details of participants.

Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) needed to operate and secure the website.

3. What we collect — the AI Mentor

Everything in this section is something you type or say to us. We do not read your device, your location sensors, your contacts, your calendar, your photos, or other apps on your phone.

About you: your name, and if you choose to give them, your city, qualification, job role, industry, years of experience, work history, goals, interests, habits, social context, preferred communication style, and topics you would rather we avoided.

Health and fitness — sensitive, and entirely optional: health conditions, fitness level, sleep hours, height, weight and dietary preference. We collect these so the plan does not suggest something unsuitable. You can use the product without any of them.

Financial context — sensitive, and entirely optional: a description of your financial situation, used to give general money-literacy guidance. We never ask for and never store bank details, card numbers or account numbers.

Birth details — optional: birth date, birth time and birth place, used only for the astrology section described in section 6.

Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp, including voice notes, questions you ask in the app, and the feedback and ideas you send from the Feedback tab. Voice notes are transcribed to text and the audio is not retained.

Your phone number, if you use WhatsApp with us, and your email address if you sign in by email.

Device information for notifications: a push notification token and an installation identifier, stored only if you turn notifications on.

How you use the app: a fixed, published list of product events — for example that a brief was opened — used to understand which features are worth keeping. This is our own measurement. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising software.

4. Payments

We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled by Razorpay, Cashfree, or Google Play, each of whom processes your payment details under their own privacy policies.

What we keep is the record of the transaction itself: the amount, the date, and the order and subscription identifiers issued by the payment provider.

5. Why we collect it, and our legal basis

To provide what you have asked for: to respond to enquiries, produce assessment results, and generate your growth plan, daily brief and answers.

To deliver the product on the channel you chose — the app, WhatsApp, or email — and to send notifications if you turn them on.

To operate, secure and improve the service, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Our legal basis is your consent, given when you sign up or submit a form, together with the legitimate uses recognised by the DPDP Act. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account (section 9) or by opting out of a specific channel.

6. What the AI Mentor will not do

These limits are built into the product, not just stated here.

It does not give personalised investment advice. We are not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser. The financial section teaches general concepts — budgeting, emergency funds, what a term means — and does not recommend shares, funds, schemes or products.

It does not sell or recommend insurance. We are not an IRDAI-registered intermediary. It may point out that a gap exists as a question worth asking; it will not name a policy, an insurer, a sum assured or a premium.

It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Health information is used to keep suggestions safe and suitable, and the product will tell you to consult a doctor rather than act as one.

Astrology is presented as tradition and reflection, never as a basis for a decision. It does not drive any recommendation about your career, health or money, and it is clearly labelled wherever it appears.

Everything the mentor produces is generated by AI. It can be wrong. It is guidance to think with, not professional advice to act on unexamined.

7. Where your data lives, and who else sees it

Your data is stored in India. Our primary database runs in the AWS Mumbai region (ap-south-1), as do the services that generate your plans and briefs.

We use processors to run the service, and they see only what they need to do their part: Anthropic (generating plans, briefs and answers); Sarvam AI, which is India-resident, for transcribing voice notes and for Indian-language generation; Supabase and Amazon Web Services for infrastructure; Vercel for serving the website and app requests; Meta for WhatsApp delivery; Expo and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications; MSG91 for email; and Razorpay, Cashfree and Google Play for payments.

Push notifications deliberately carry no content from your plan. A notification tells you a brief is ready; you open the app to read it. This is so that nothing personal appears on your lock screen.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it to target advertising. We may disclose data where the law requires it.

We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your profile and the things generated for you while your account exists, so that the product can refer back to them.

When you delete your account we remove your profile, plans, briefs, learning history, questions, feedback, messages, notification tokens and the records of how you used the app. Feedback you sent us is deleted along with everything else, because it is written in your own words and we cannot know what you put in it.

We keep payment and subscription records after deletion, because company law requires books of account to be retained. Those records contain no name, email, phone number or profile detail — once your profile is gone they are no longer linked to you.

We also keep dated counts of how many plans and briefs have been generated, and of what they cost us to produce, with your identifier removed. These are numbers and dates holding no name, no number and nothing you wrote. They stay because those counts are totalled across everyone to control our costs, and deleting an account should not reset them.

9. Your rights, and how to delete your account

Under the DPDP Act you may: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct or complete it; ask us to erase it; nominate someone to exercise your rights on your behalf; and raise a grievance about how we have handled it.

You can delete your account yourself. In the Android app: Settings, then Delete my account. On the web, or if you no longer have the app: visit www.agentora.in/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, and we show you exactly what will be removed before you confirm.

For anything else, email support@agentora.in. We respond within the periods prescribed by law. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Children

The AI Mentor is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly create accounts for children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email support@agentora.in and we will delete it.

11. Cookies

This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function. We do not use advertising cookies. The Android app does not use cookies. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law evolve. The latest version will always be available at www.agentora.in/privacy with its effective date shown below. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.

13. Contact

For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact our grievance contact at support@agentora.in, or write to: Agentora Technologies Private Limited, Plot No 540, Vijayraj Nagar, Bhavnagar – 364003, Gujarat, India.
